Tour Overview

Reach to the base camp of Annapurna Mountain located at 4130 meters which is the 10th highest peak in the world by passing Base of Fishtail which is known as “Machhapuchre Base Camp”. This trek provides scenic cultural exploration of Gurung communities residing on Annapurna foothills. Visit typical villages such as Ghandrung & Chomrung to see traditional lifestyle. From Doban the trekking trail leads to more alpine climate which changes on topography and excellent view of Annapurna massif.

You will meet and assisted by our representative at the airport and transferred to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, explore Kathmandu City, Swayambhunath Stupa and Patan City. He will give a briefing about the trek on his way rooming around. Later, we will go for some shopping for the gears which you will/ may need during the ABC trek. In the evening you will be dropped at the Hotel.

Early morning pick-up from your hotel with trekking crew and drive to Nayapool. Start your trek to Ghandrung village which is the largest Gurung Village in Nepal.

Today walk down to Kimrung River from Ghandrung and start you uphill climb to Ghorepani.

Descend to Chomrung Khola crossing 2500 stone steps from Chomrung. Start uphill climb to Sinwa and gentle trek leads to Bamboo. Continue further to Doban.

Trek through forest area and reach to Deurali from where you will see first close view of the Himalayas.

Gentle climb from Bagar will take us to base of the Fishtail Mountain which is also known as “Machhapuchre Base Camp” located at 3700meters. From MBC we can see Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna mountains. After spending some time, continue your walk to Annapurna Base Camp. From the base camp we again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks. Enjoy sunset view with 360 degree view.

After sunrise view from Annapurna Base Camp, trek down to Bamboo following the same trekking route.

Trek to Jhinu Danda. Check-in at Lodge. If you are interested then visit Hot spring located 15 minutes walk from Jhinu at Modi Khola river bank.

Trek down to Nayapool and board your vehicle to Pokhara. Drop at Hotel that you have booked at Lakeside Area.

This morning you drive/ fly to Kathmandu with a final opportunity for an aerial view of these mighty mountains. Sometimes the flights might be delayed due to unfavorable conditions either in fog-bound Kathmandu or windy at Pokhara. If this happens, we will do everything in our power to minimize the inconvenience. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Useful Info

If taking a trip to Annapurna Circuit in Nepal you'll need the following:

Trekking permits you need include the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) and TIMS Card (Tourism Information Management System) available at agents and through the official Nepal Tourism Board offices in Kathmandu and Pokhara (trekking guides can usually take care of this for you). After that it depends on the time of year in regards to clothing and equipment.

Interesting Facts

The food is typical Nepalese trekking food. Meaning you can get just about anything for a price. From steaks to pasta, pancakes and chop suey. Granted it won't be Michelin star quality food, but it will get the job done.
